Maqio Toys

Maqio is an award-winning online toy retailer based in Manchester, England. The company was founded on a passion for the joy that toys bring to childhood, with a mission to create products that become meaningful companions and lasting memories for children.

As the in-house Marketing Executive & Designer, I was responsible for maintaining brand consistency across all visual touchpoints, including the website, social media, photography, and marketing materials. I also played a key role in streamlining daily processes to improve efficiency and support the wider team.

2019 - Logo Re-Design

A complete re-design of the Maqio Logo as the company expanded from selling on e-commerce platforms like Amazon & Ebay to having their own website

Christmas Logo

With Christmas being the biggest season for toys, a separate logo was required to match the festive season.

2024 - Revamped Logo

Revamp of Maqio toys logo. Focusing the evolution and adaptability of the company. The word “toys” now integrated closer allows for future growth & expansion. “Toys” can effectively be swapped out for “home” or “collectibles”.

Branded Toy Bundles

Working with a strong understanding of customer behaviour and seasonal demand, I developed bundles that not only enhanced the shopping experience but also drive engagement and increase average order value. Each bundle is carefully curated to feel cohesive, exciting, and giftable—designed to resonate with both children and parents while aligning with the brand’s identity and commercial goals. The bundle collection eventually became the most popular collection on the website which enabled us to move and clear stock quicker
